Donate Hearing Aids and Assistive Listening Devices
Do you have used hearing aids? Consider donating them to HSDC. Our Audiology department gratefully accepts donated hearing aids to support our Access Sound program. We work with community partners to repair and refurbish donated hearing aids, which are then offered at a very low cost to a select number of low-income community members at Access Sound events.
We also accept used assistive listening devices and related equipment such as FM systems, amplifiers, and hearing aid batteries. Not sure if we’d want your old equipment? Feel free to contact us and ask.
You can drop off hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and related supplies in person at any of our three offices in Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellingham. If you would like to mail your donation, pack it securely and send it to our Seattle office:
Hearing, Speech & Deaf Center
1625 19th Ave
Seattle, WA 98122
Please include a note with your contact information explaining that the contents of your package are an in-kind donation, or send us an email ahead of time to let us know it’s coming.
Other In-Kind Donations
We also accept other in-kind donations such as office supplies and furniture. If your office has some surplus supplies or equipment, considering putting it to good use by donating to HSDC!
Our early childhood education programs can always use toys, games, and children’s books, as well. If you have any gently used items, we may be able to put them to good use!
If you have any office supplies, equipment, or children’s items you’d like to donate to HSDC, please contact us to determine our need for the potential donation.
